Indigenous Garden Day 🌿

Yesterday we welcomed Andrea and Jason from Limestone Coast Landscape Board (LCLB) for the unveiling of our most recent murals. Mel Holts from LCLB worked with our students in Term 4 last year to create 3 environmental themed murals.

One Forty One funded the materials including boards, posts and paint for these murals. Dulux Paint donated the anti-graffiti paint.

We now have 7 murals on display including the Red-tailed Black Cockatoo to celebrate our long involvement with Bron Perryman and the Red-tailed Black Cockatoo Recovery Project.

Thank you to all involved 👏

An amazing effort from all! What I loved more than the many ribbons you guys brought home was the sportsmanship on display. The way you looked out for one another and other competitors was wonderful, and I could not be more proud of each and every one of you! Well done, Newbery kids! You are brilliant! ❤️

Loved watching everyone use the skills they have been practicing to do their best yesterday. An amazing effort by all who represented our school.
