Yum, you lucky lot

On Wednesday, we welcomed students from Rendelsham, Beachport, Kangaroo Inn, and Mount Burr for an exciting day of cultural learning and shared experiences.

Throughout the day, we:
🔥 Made traditional damper and cooked it over the fire
🌱 Contributed to the Budinya Mraatu garden
🐋 Listened to the Dreaming story of Kondoli – the keeper of the spark

It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, share stories, and learn more about each other and Aboriginal culture.

Big thanks to everyone who came along and got involved!

Today, we welcomed back the delightful duo of Nadine and Pierina, as well as Brigitta who made us a delicious meal of Italian meatballs and pasta for our whole-school lunch. The food was super yummy and the salad made fresh with ingredients from our garden was a real treat.
Thank you so much to our wonderful volunteers! We appreciate you greatly!! ❤️
